“As Much as I Can” Debuts in New York City

The award-winning immersive experience co-created with and about Black gay and bisexual men debuts in New York City at historic Harlem Parish.

ViiV Healthcare is proud to announce the New York City (NYC) debut of “As Much as I Can” — an immersive theater experience co-created with and about the Black gay and bisexual men of Jackson, MS, and Baltimore, MD.

For the first time in NYC, “As Much as I Can” invites audiences into the lives of four men to explore their complex relationships to faith, family, community and — ultimately — themselves. “As Much as I Can” will run for three weeks starting May 8 through the 24.

Using key insights and research from ViiV Healthcare’s ACCELERATE! Initiative, “As Much as I Can” shines a light on the prevailing stigma toward Black gay and bisexual men and the HIV community, the desire among these men to be accepted for who they are and the need for supportive networks in response to an epidemic that continues to disproportionately impact Black communities.

“As Much as I Can” breaks down the “fourth wall” to enhance perceptions and inspire action among audience members, who hail the show as "emotionally searing" and an "experience you don't want to miss."
